Tasting Notes

A style within itself, Tilly begins its life as a kettle soured red wheat ale. The use of lactobacillus brings out an pleasant tartness, which is perfectly complemented by a spicy hop character. After souring, this beer is fermented on French Saison yeast to bring out intensely flavorful ester profiles, which are balanced by a strong malt backbone that finishes with a touch of roasted malt. Much like its namesake, this beer will leave you grinning maniacally.
