You might have noticed that something very exciting is happening around here. As life begins to return to the boardwalk, we’ve been busy working on a celebration to honor the enchanting aquatic creature (and beer) we’ve all grown to know and love here at Coney Island Brewery.
With the first Saturday of summer comes the annual magic of the Coney Island Mermaid Parade. This year the parade turns 35 and it’s as vibrant and enchanting as ever! We’re channeling that energy into a badass float that will be sailing down Surf Ave on June 17th. But why wait until the day of the parade to celebrate? We’re counting down the days and bringing the excitement all over New York City and beyond with The Road to the Mermaid Parade.

The Parties
We’re creating special experiences every week leading up to the parade and we’d love for you to join us. Here are just a few, but click HERE for all dates and details!
May 18th– Circle Line Harbor Lights Cruise -7-9pm – Enjoy a sunset sail while taking in Manhattan’s Skyline with some special Mermaid fun on board.
May 31st– Buzz Bar at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory – Enjoy live music and Mermaids on the dock overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline!
June 1st– Ryan’s Daughter – 5pm– Join us on the east side of Manhattan for an ice cold Mermaid after work!
June 11th– Long Island Bar Crawl and Art Show – 4pm – We’ll be hanging out in Long Beach doing a Mermaid bar crawl in town that ends with an incredible art show at Speak Easy Lounge – A Sunday funday indeed!
June 15th– Rooftop Party at The Brass Monkey- 5-7pm – Just days before the parade and the official start of summer, join us for Mermaid can specials on the roof!
The Beer
Speaking of cans… Mermaid Pilsner is now available in 12oz cans just in time for beach days and backyard BBQs. You can also still find her in bottles and on draft, just check out our beer finder!
In your travels you’ll also find our delicious new summer seasonal Watermelon Wheat! It’s cool, refreshing and slightly sweet to perfectly complement your road to the Mermaid Parade (and summer) fun!
