There’s a lot brewing here in New York City and we’re excited to be a part of it all as members of the NYC Brewers Guild! At our regular meetings throughout the year, our crew and fellow NYC brewers gather to discuss everything from industry happenings to upcoming events. Basically anything we can do to fulfill the guild’s mission of fostering a healthy, ethical, and growth-focused craft beer industry throughout the city.

Blocktoberfest
The annual fall bash is back this Saturday, October 22 in Bushwick! We’ll be pouring some Coney classics and our new-for-fall Hell Ride Helles Lager alongside 15+ other NYC breweries. Get your last minute tickets here!
SMaSH Beers Return!
A SMaSH beer is a beer that was brewed with a single malt and a single hop, and last year the guild encouraged local breweries to brew their own versions for NYC Beer Week. The competition is back and we’re super excited to get started! Eric already has some ideas in the works to follow up last year’s Trapp’ed on the Cyclone Trappist-style Tripel. What makes these SMaSH Beers even more interesting is that brewers will be using NY malts and hops from NY Craft Malt and Willet Farms, which technically makes it a Single State Malt and Single State Hop beer.
NYC Beer Week
The week dedicated to all things craft beer in NYC is set for February 24 – March 4. The SMaSH beers will be making their debut at the Simultap kickoff event and we’ll be bringing specialty beers to events throughout the city all week long.
