Sure New York is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, but have you actually stopped to take a moment to really embrace all of the fun touristy things there are to do right in our own back yard? This summer we’ve been cruising the Hudson on the Circle Line for their Hello Brooklyn Cruise. Here are the top reasons why we think you should check it out:
- You can check out the famous mural on a certain beverage factory’s wall, which can only be seen from the water.
- Up close and personal views of the Verrazano and Brooklyn Bridges (way cooler than going over them).
- You cruise through the Buttermilk Channel and learn the legend of how it got it’s name.
- So much art. Everywhere.
- You get super close to the Statue of Liberty.
Oh, and Coney Island beer is available on board.
It’s the only Brooklyn cruise in the city and runs daily through Labor Day. So grab your friends and check it out before the summer is gone.
