Bikini Carwash formed in Brooklyn in 2010, released their self-titled EP in 2014 and their first full-length album, Nothing I Can See, in 2020. Their focus has always been on playing live; they’ve unleashed their high-energy punk/power pop hybrid at venues ranging from basements to beaches to festivals to dive bars to theaters. These longtime friends write songs that come from hard-fought experience, seen through rose-colored glasses that got smashed in the gutter. Their singer is equally comfortable belting them out onstage or while rolling around on the floor at your feet.
