August 6th is National Root Beer Float Day and you better believe we’ll be celebrating hard. This past week, we asked some friends around New York City to craft their most creative floats and desserts using our Hard Root Beer, Hard Orange Cream Ale and Hard Ginger Ale and all of the floats below will be available through until Labor Day.

Sugar and Plumm – Upper West Side
Fireworks Float: Hard Ginger Ale, raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream garnished with red, white and blue gummies and whipped cream.
Mango Tango Milkshake: Hard Orange Cream Ale, mango sorbet, vanilla ice cream garnished with whipped cream, mango puree and peach gummy hearts.
Bacon Me Crazy: Hard Root Beer, a shot of house-made Smokey Bacon Bourbon with two scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream floating and a touch of whipped cream.
Butter & Scotch – Downtown Brooklyn
Brooklyn Roots: Hard Root Beer featuring amaro, heavy cream and vanilla.
Coney Creamsicle: a blood orange and vanilla ice cream treat featuring Hard Orange Cream Ale.
Boardwalk Mule: a whimsical twist on the Moscow Mule that features ginger liqueur, lime, coconut ice cream, and of Hard Ginger Ale.
The Brooklyn Barge Bar – Greenpoint
Tugboat Float: a twist on the traditional root beer float, made with vanilla vodka, vanilla ice cream and Hard Root Beer.
Message in a Bottle: perfect for floating to a lost island, made with coconut rum and fresh lime juice, topped with Hard Orange Cream Ale.
The Sea Hag: features rye whiskey and orange bitters, topped with Hard Ginger Ale.
To Top it all off, it also happens to be the one year anniversary of brewing in our Innovation Brewery on Surf Ave! We’ll have live tunes in the beer garden, sideshow attractions, Hard Root Beer floats and Italian ice from our friends at Rita’s.
We’ll also be releasing a super exclusive keg of Bourbon Barrel Aged Hard Root Beer, which has been aging inside a few Bourbon barrels for the past 4 months!
